Stage Seven, Day Five
After Holy Mass at 6:00 a.m. at the Philippine Fathers’ monastery in Verona, we set out for our next overnight stop, Cerea.
Today’s distance was the longest we’ve covered so far, totaling 40 km. Along the way, we were able to visit the Santuario della Madonnina church in San Giovanni Lupatoto. A group from Kalisz, accompanied by Fr. Przemysław, also joined us that day. Despite forecasts of rain and thunderstorms, we managed to reach our lodging before the weather changed.
At 9 p.m., we gathered for the Jasna Góra Appeal and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament at the Oratory of St. Carlo Acutis, where we are spending the night.
