The fifth day of our pilgrimage 🥾🏔️
Today, our route looked completely different. We left the plains behind and entered the mountains, hiking along the Via Romea trail leading toward Rome. 🇮🇹
There were more climbs, more effort, but also views that more than made up for the kilometers we covered. After several days of gazing at the Apennines somewhere on the horizon, today we finally found ourselves right in the midst of them. 🏔️
As we do every day, we found time along the way for conversation, mutual support, and prayer together. We also constantly keep in mind the main intention of our pilgrimage—praying for new vocations. 🙏
After 26 kilometers, we reached Galeata. We’re feeling more and more tired, but at the same time, we’re getting closer to the destination of our journey—La Verna.
The fifth day is behind us. Mountains, kilometers, prayer, and people with whom it’s worth continuing the journey. 🥾🤍
Tomorrow is the next stage. Heading to La Verna! 🏔️👣
