The sixth day of our pilgrimage 🥾🏔️
Today, the mountains really put us to the test. We’ve covered 37 kilometers, and the highest point of today’s route was at an elevation of 1,267 meters above sea level. 🏔️
The intense Italian sun, the heat, the constant climbs, and the fatigue that set in with every kilometer. It was really tough, but step by step, together, we kept going. 👣
As every day, prayer, conversation, and mutual support kept us going. 🙏🏻 There were also some extra thrills—we encountered wild animals on the mountain trail, so at times the adrenaline was definitely higher than usual. 🐍🌿
37 kilometers. Mountains. Heat. 1,267 meters above sea level. Exhaustion. But we made it! 💪🏻
Today, a well-deserved rest and recovery. And the final stage is already ahead of us.
