Stage Nine, Day One. On Sunday, we began the first stage of our walking pilgrimage in the footsteps of St. Stanislaus Kostka.
Setting out from Chiusi della Verna were representatives of the Kostka Project from Złotów and young people from Górka Klasztorna led by Fr. Jan Tomczyk, MSF; a group from Gdańsk under the care of Bishop Piotr Przyborek; the Sisters of the Angels, a group from Konin, and Father Mariusz from the Diocese of Lublin.
We began the day with the Eucharist and, full of energy, set out on the trail.
During the pilgrimage, we are accompanied by conversations, getting to know one another, and above all, prayer for new vocations.
On the first day, we covered 16 kilometers from Chiusi della Verna to Pieve Santo Stefano.
Dinner together was an opportunity to rest after the hike, and we ended the day with Vespers.
More days and more kilometers lie ahead of us. Destination: Assisi.
