We began our Thursday pilgrimage as we usually do—with a communal Mass and adoration of the Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Afterward, we gathered for breakfast prepared by the women from St. Martin’s Parish in St. Martin im Innkreis. Grateful for their wonderful hospitality, we set off, this time heading for Altheim.
Today’s reading from the liturgy was, as usual, right on point. Another day of pilgrimage, once again in the heat, took its toll on us a bit. How good it is, in such a context, to hear the words of Jesus, who says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28). Tired but happy, we arrived at our lodging for the night—Altheim. Here, once again, we shared a dinner prepared by the Brothers of Christ and rested...
And after dinner… delicious ice cream! Eaten (and prepared) together as a community, it tasted wonderful. We end the day, as is our tradition, with Compline and the Jasna Góra Prayer. Warm regards; we remember you in our prayers and commend ourselves to you… 🙏🏻
