Day of Arrival – July 18
Do you know St. Stanisław Kostka? We do. Not personally, of course, but we went on a pilgrimage 👣 in his footsteps. This year marks the 300th anniversary of his canonization 😇. Just like him, we’re traveling from Vienna to Rome. In this relay, we were assigned the third leg—from Altötting to Augsburg. Stasiu set out on this journey hoping that perhaps there he would be able to fulfill his dream—to become a Jesuit. He was very determined in his resolve and achieved his goal. We learn from him how to follow God, and we pray for young people to have the courage to follow their calling 💪. On the first day, we arrived at our starting point, where the symbols of the pilgrimage—an icon and a painting of St. Stanislaus—were handed over. After the morning Mass in Częstochowa, presided over by Bishop Adam Bab, Auxiliary Bishop of Lublin (who is making the pilgrimage with us), we continued on our way, and by evening we were ready to set out on our pilgrimage the next day. Stay tuned ;)
