Dzień 3. Maria Anzbach → St. Pölten [29 km]

We’ve covered yet more kilometers, which require effort, patience, and mutual support. Every step, however, reminds us why we’re here—our main intention is to pray for new priestly and religious vocations.

Witek said something today that gave us all pause for thought. As he prays for vocations, he is becoming increasingly aware of how easily we’ve grown accustomed to having the sacraments at our fingertips. Holy Mass, confession, or the anointing of the sick seem like a given. And yet, if there is a shortage of priests, it may turn out that what is available almost immediately today will become a blessing for which we will have to wait a long time. That is why—as he says—he prays for vocations, preferably ones like his parish priest, Fr. Robert.

The weather also showed its true colors today. Violent storms with downpours swept through Vienna and the surrounding area, but—thank God—we only got a few drops of rain all day. 🌦️ It was yet another sign for which we are very grateful.

Thank you for your prayers. Every day, we carry in our hearts all the intentions entrusted to us.
