Day 60. Stage from Sansepolcro to Città di Castello (16 km)
First, we’d like to send our warmest greetings and a heartfelt smile to those who have walked this path before us and to those who visit this site every day: we are aware of how many people have walked this extraordinary pilgrimage before us and how many are praying for us and with us. We are very happy to be taking part in this important offering for vocations.
Today, our pilgrimage split into two groups: the first group, at 6:00 a.m., had already gathered at the Savior’s Table and set out on the route in the pleasant cool of the morning. We highly recommend this option :-)
The second group decided to rest a little longer, and after the 9:00 a.m. Mass and breakfast, they set out following in the footsteps of the first group in much hotter weather 😮💨
It was hot—32–35 degrees. And the challenge was all the greater because we were constantly walking along a very busy road. On the road, prayer proves to be a great help, both physically and spiritually. Thanks be to God for the good people who help us so that we may enjoy the goodness of water and the joy of sleeping in a bed 🛏️
